Everest Base Camp Trek - 19 Days of Heaven and Wonder

If you are in Nepal, one can not help that. The contradictions, beauty and rich culture of the people who have fallen on the edge of heaven

The engraved Sherpas live their daily life in the villages against the high, sharp peaks, Mani stone paths with delicate Buddhist Tibetan prayer walk lined removed.

It is clear that these people immeasurable life intertwined with the spirit and a connection to the land of the living. A spiritual relationship with the giants of the mountain they call home.

Up in the beautiful mountains you colorful monasteries in the rocky slopes of the valleys are richly decorated installed. Prayer flags in the wind driving the stupas, prayer or cairn, which can be found in every village in honor of the Sherpa, as they progress in their peaceful existence.

I have the opportunity, both physical and had ethereal nature of the Himalayas, the encounter left on his mind and soul an indelible impression.

We are approaching the first stupa on our trip, our guide explains the cultural significance of these impressive formations. It takes time, rooted in light practice walking the perimeter of each against the barn, a protocol Himalayas, if you want in the Buddhist tradition of Nepal.

We see children dancing, head and shoulders, in the popular Animal durable and Namche Bazar, another purpose of the visit on our way to the base camp of Everest smile. We will stay here for acclimatize and enjoy the hospitality of Nepal.

Most people who have seen images of trails in the Himalayas that people in the highlands have known for centuries as a yak wool meals and transportation among others. It's the cliché of the Himalayan fauna as so often in books and pictures to Tibet ad Nepal.

However, yaks the most interesting mammal mind, but the Argali sheep. The horns on me remind relative to something you would see in a book of Greek mythology! There are too many monkeys, cats, lizards and national peacock like a bird; the Danphe. Definitely not your average dog, cat or squirrel see at home.

Beautiful forest of rhododendrons in bloom this time of year in March bright green and red, in contrast to the gray peaks, rocky and seemingly barren snow dusted mountains. Under the landscape, if you look closely, we can see animals dotting the hilltops.

When we do. Our way through the open valleys, deep gorges and steep mountain trails we rewarded with stunning views of the Himalayas

It's simple, the sense of accomplishment that you forget the time when your senses are so full and feel alive in a world so different from the norm taste, sound, light, smells, and immersion.

I loved the atmosphere of the village, the bustle of the city, but with a sense of balance and harmony, in contrast to the chaotic feel of the great cities of our western culture of everyday life.

Because this is a constant reminder of the time to live and appreciate all the little pieces that beauty happen to us without a thought.

A flower that you've never seen in their natural habitat can capture their interest, but a daisy in her garden at home is so easy to go unnoticed.

Travel to places where nothing is familiar, provokes the senses and the nervous system triggers his program in a state of full consciousness. It's exciting, and more than a little addictive!

Trekking through the Himalayas is certainly one of those adventure with the feeling that something has changed in your consciousness coming home. I do not know if it's the sheer physical beauty of the mountains and the surrounding area, or if the spiritual nature of the country and its people, who stays with you - maybe it's both.
